Here is my page of ideas for making things work better for me.
Harbor Freight Roll around storage cart wall modification
![Picture](/uploads/1/2/5/1/12519422/4217759.jpg)
So this is a great buy at Harbor Freight. 74 Bin Mobile Double-Sided Floor Rack It can be found on sale for around $70 (when its on its best sale). I had it for a few years in my garage but really got tired of having to roll it in and out of its storage spot and I seemed to always need something on the OTHER side. The wall mounted systems for these bins are VERY pricey. in the several hundred dollar range. So I decided to modify this one.
Final Wall mount

I will add a pic of the wall without the bins later, but this is the final new assembly. I took the ten newly separated rails and used the existing 5 holes to screw them into a board mounted to my wall. Eventually I will move this to a standard Drywall and stud wall and will crew the rails into the studs for real hanging capacity. Not too shabby for $70 and a couple hours....now to actually organize what is IN them :)
BLONDE OAK DESK RESTORATION => Red Mahogany
So my boss was kind enough to acquire this HUGE oak bankers desk and then not have it fit into the room he wanted it in, so I got it :) Problem for me is that i am really sick of blonde oak furniture. Most of what we have switched to is dark espressos and cherrys. Plus the computer nook and the GAWD AWFUL round plastic Drawer pulls had to go too. I unfortunately don't have many good pics of it in its old state, but there is at least one. This it still a slow work in progress and will show more pics as it gets completed.
Restoration begins

So here is the desk after I removed the stupid computer nook thing. I removed and recut the bottom trim do that it looks like it was made that was originally. I also have already sanded the top surface at this point. It took a big leap to decide to actually sand this whole thing. I tried paint stripper etc, but no bueno. I'm in it for the long haul now!

about 75% sanded clean. you can see the slot left over from the top of the computer nook. Sanding ALLLLL those details is annnnnnoying. but will hopefully be worth it.
